When I started to apply for college, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career that combined the likes of practicality and artistic merit.  Naturally, I always felt a strong connection to architecture based on that desire to find balance.  However, through my studies, I learned that architecture felt much more subjective in its practice than objective.  In order to balance out the subjective nature of architecture, I found a new subject to be its objective counter:  computer science!  At last, I found the balance that I was searching for, and with the practice I have in designing and programming, I hope to find a career in which I can employ the strategies found in both fields!
